WEB DESIGN GOLD COAST

You'll be talking to the person who designs it.

Most web design goes through a translator. You explain what you want to a salesperson, they write it down, someone else designs it, and by the time it comes back the thing you actually asked for has gone missing somewhere in the middle.

I design and build the site myself. You tell me directly, I draw it, you tell me what’s wrong with it, I fix it. There’s no handover, no account manager, and nobody to be put through to.

What actually goes wrong with small business websites

A site rarely fails because it’s ugly. It fails because someone couldn’t find the price, couldn’t tell whether you cover their suburb, or gave up on a contact form on their phone in a driveway.

So before I design anything I want to know what people ring you about — the same three questions you answer every week. Those go where they can be seen. Everything else can wait.

What you get

I don’t create websites that look pretty and perform poorly. Every design decision is strategic, purposeful, and built around your business goals.

Built for phones first

Most of your visitors are standing on a job site or sitting in a ute.

Pages built around what people search for

Not around how your business is organised internally.

Contact that works

A tap-to-call number, a form that actually sends, and online booking where it suits the job.

Speed

A slow site loses people before it has finished loading.

Help with the words

Most people get stuck here. If writing isn’t your thing, I’ll draft it and you correct me.

Australian accessibility standards

So it works for everyone who lands on it.

What is the process?

First, a conversation. Half an hour, usually. What you do, who rings you, what’s not working now. I’ll also tell you if I don’t think you need a new website — that happens more often than you’d expect.

Then a concept. Before you commit to anything, I’ll build you a homepage concept for free, using your business and your branding. If you don’t like it, you’ve lost nothing.

Then the build. Two to three weeks for most small business sites. You see it as it comes together, and you’re allowed to change your mind — that’s what the review stage is for.

Then launch, and I’m still here. I set up the domain, the analytics and the email, and I don’t disappear afterwards. Most of the people I work with now are people I built for years ago.

Why people pick me instead of an agency

How long does it take?

Two to three weeks for a standard small business site. Bigger builds take longer, and I’ll tell you how much longer before you commit to anything.
