WEB DEVELOPMENT
GOLD COAST
Tell me the problem. I'll build the thing.
Custom development usually goes through a relay. You describe how your business works, someone writes a requirements document, a developer builds what the document says, and what comes back solves a problem you didn’t quite have.
I do both halves. You explain how the job actually runs, and I’m the one writing the code — so nothing gets lost between hearing it and building it.
Has Your Business
Outgrown Its Website?
A website that fitted when you started often stops fitting once you grow. You may now need it to take bookings, process payments, talk to your other software, or give customers access to their own information — and instead you’re working around it.
The usual signs:
- Your team is manually transferring information between systems.
- Customers must call or email to complete simple tasks.
- Your website cannot support a new service or business model.
- Your current forms do not collect the information you need.
- Your website and CRM, booking system or email platform are disconnected.
- You rely on spreadsheets or manual processes that could be automated.
- Your current platform is becoming difficult to manage or expand.
What your website could do
Every job here starts with a business problem, not a feature list. I want to know what your customers are trying to do and where your team is wasting time.

Online bookings
Customers pick a service, pick a time, pay a deposit. No more taking bookings while you’re up a ladder.

Forms and calculators
Multi-step quotes, cost estimators, eligibility checks that change depending on the answers given.

Customer and member portals
Secure logins so clients, staff or members can get at documents, accounts or courses themselves.

Integrations
Your site talking to your CRM, your email platform, your booking system, your payment gateway.

Ecommerce functionality
Subscriptions, wholesale pricing, complicated variations and custom checkouts on WooCommerce or Shopify.

Automation
One form submission that creates the record, sends the confirmation, notifies the right person and files the document, without anyone touching it.
How it goes
Work out what’s really needed. I’ll ask how the job runs now and where it goes wrong. Often the fix turns out to be smaller than what you came in asking for, and I’d rather tell you that up front.
Build it and test it. I test every feature on real devices and browsers before your customers ever see it.
Launch it and monitor it. I watch it for the first while, and I’m here when you want the next thing.
Why people bring this work to me
You're talking to the person writing the code
Not a salesperson, and not a project manager relaying messages between you and someone you never meet.
I'll tell you when you don't need something.
Talking people out of features is one of the more useful things I do.
Fixed scope
Agreed in writing before I start.
I can build onto what you've already got
A rebuild only when it genuinely saves you money.
Structured so the next thing can be added later
Without starting again.

Can you add functionality to my existing website?
Usually. I’ll look at your platform and hosting first and tell you whether it can be done without a rebuild.
Do I need a completely new website?
Not always. If what you’ve got has a decent foundation, building on it is cheaper. I’ll only recommend a rebuild when there’s a real reason.
Can you connect my website to my other software?
In most cases, yes — CRMs, booking systems, payment platforms, email marketing tools.
Can you automate what happens after someone fills in a form?
Yes. Confirmation emails, internal alerts, customer records, document delivery, CRM updates.
How long does it take?
It depends on the complexity and how much testing it needs. Once I understand the requirement I’ll give you a scope and a timeline, and I’ll stick to them.
What if I don't know what I need?
You don’t need a technical brief. Tell me the process that’s annoying you and I’ll work out what would fix it.
