WEBSITE MAINTENANCE
GOLD COAST

You'll know exactly who's looking after your website.

Ask most small business owners who maintains their site and the honest answer is nobody. Whoever built it moved on, the plugins are two years out of date, and now nobody wants to touch it in case it breaks.

That’s what this is for. I keep your site updated, backed up and watched — and when something goes wrong you ring me. Not a support address, not a ticket form. Me.

Two ways to run a website

You can wait until something breaks and then panic. Or you can have someone check it regularly so it doesn’t. I prefer the second option. It’s cheaper, and it’s a great deal less stressful for both of us.

YOUR WEBSITE DOESN'T STOP
NEEDING ATTENTION AFTER LAUNCH

Launching a website is only the beginning.

WordPress, theme and plugin updates — applied and then checked, rather than clicked and hoped.

Backups you could actually restore from, tested, not just scheduled.

Security monitoring, because an out-of-date site is the easiest kind to get into.

Uptime checks, so I usually know before you do.

Small content changes — a new price, a staff photo, a service you’ve added. Usually same day.

An honest yearly look at whether the site is still doing its job, and what I’d change.

Without regular maintenance, small issues can gradually turn into bigger problems.

A properly maintained website stays secure, performs better and remains easier for customers to use.

Why it's worth paying for

An out-of-date site is the most common way small businesses get hacked, and the clean-up costs more than years of maintenance would have.

Broken contact forms are worse, because nothing looks wrong. The page loads, the customer types their message, and it goes nowhere. That can run for months before anyone notices.

And Google reads a slow, broken or insecure site exactly the way a customer does.

How it starts

Simple. Proactive. Reliable.

I review what you’ve got — the site, the hosting, the plugins, and anything that’s been left half-finished. Then I clear the backlog, get a proper backup in place, and it goes onto a regular schedule. After that you mostly stop thinking about it, which is the point.

Do you maintain sites you didn't build?

Yes, most WordPress and WooCommerce sites, after I’ve had a look at what state it’s in.
